GCF works with a range of partners, including governments, financial institutions, the private sector and civil society, to strengthen institutional capacity, expand access to climate finance, and support the development of investment pipelines tailored to country needs. Through readiness support, technical assistance, project preparation and financing, GCF helps countries address key priorities such as water security, energy transitions, resilient infrastructure and sustainable land use.

Across the region, GCF supports projects, programmes and partnerships that reflect a wide range of national contexts—from emerging low-carbon pathways in energy systems to efforts to strengthen resilience in climate-sensitive sectors. By linking country-led planning with financing and partnerships, GCF supports coordinated, high-impact projects that deliver long-term climate and development outcomes.
