GCF Structured Dialogue with
5 – 8 March 2018, Bogota, Colombia
The Green Climate Fund's Structured Dialogue with Latin America, organised in collaboration with the Government of Colombia, will bring together key stakeholders to increase the involvement of Latin American countries with the GCF and to accelerate the implementation of GCF projects and programmes approved in Latin America.
The Structured Dialogue will be attended by ministers of countries in Latin America, senior government officials, including representatives of GCF National Designated Authorities (NDAs) and Focal Points, Accredited Entities, Readiness delivery partners, civil society organisations, private sector representatives, GCF Board Members, and GCF Secretariat staff.
The four-day gathering will provide an opportunity for countries and Accredited Entities to share their experiences in engaging with the Fund across key areas. An expected outcome of the Dialogue includes helping countries identify accredited entities, including private sector partners, to support the design and development of country-owned GCF funding proposals that are ambitious and speak to countries' climate action aspirations and the Fund's mandate.
Please note that the event will be conducted in Spanish, with English interpretation available only on the first day (5 March).
