GCF Regional Session for Direct Access Entities in Africa

This GCF regional session for the Direct Access Entities (DAEs) in Africa will maintain momentum created by the earlier workshop organized in November 2021, and advance discussions with the GCF Secretariat about DAEs’ planned project/programme pipeline development, with a view to ensuring progress and triggering relevant action.
The programme will include informative plenary sessions that will identify specific areas for strengthening proposals and information on accessing available GCF proposal development resources. The plenary sessions on the first day will be followed by a technical session on the second day, providing real time access to GCF specialists and a particular focus on support with climate rationale data and narrative, as well as an opportunity for peer-to-peer learning amongst DAEs.
