Overview
The country’s second Readiness support request has been crafted to respond to stakeholders’ needs and priorities, which have surfaced under The Bahamas’ initial GCF Readiness Project, currently underway. The objective of this readiness request is to strengthen the Government of the Bahamas’ continued engagement with the GCF. Specifically, this project will augment the country’s capacity for monitoring and oversight of climate finance through the development of a nationallevel Monitoring, Reporting and Verification System (MRVS) for tracking climate finance inflows and public expenditure in the Bahamas.
