The GCF Board adopted the Revised Accreditation Framework and associated policies at its 42nd meeting (B.42). For the latest information, including adopted documents and key updates, please visit the GCF Accreditation page.
Under the Revised Accreditation Framework, Governments of developing countries (acting through an authorized ministry, department or agency) and government-controlled subnational, national or regional entities must be nominated for accreditation by the relevant National Designated Authority (NDA) or focal point. Other subnational, national or regional entities that are not government-controlled may apply through self-nomination following consultation with the relevant NDA or focal point. International entities may also apply through self-nomination and are not required to submit an NDA/focal point nomination letter.
Where an NDA nomination is required, this template may be used as a basis for the nomination letter.
