This indicative outline document provides more detailed guidance on the information to be included in the ESAP for PAP or SAP with Category C proposals, and is aligned with the E&S Guidelines for SAP (Guidelines for the environmental and social screening of activities). In addition to the ESAP table, the outline provides guidance on documenting the applicable environmental and social legal framework, E&S screening and categorization, implementation arrangements, and stakeholder engagement and information disclosure. The template is intended to support more consistent and comprehensive documentation of E&S due diligence and does not introduce new requirements.
