GCF Regional Dialogue with Latin America and Workshop for Direct Access Entities in Latin America and the Caribbean

The GCF Regional Dialogue with Latin America is scheduled to be held from 24-26Â July. This will be followed by the GCF Workshop for Direct Access Entities (DAEs) in Latin America and the Caribbean, which is scheduled for 27-28Â July. Both events will be held in Montevideo, Uruguay.
The Regional Dialogue includes a series of technical discussions and workshops targeting specific topics such as pipeline development, supporting innovative Readiness proposals for climate investment planning, accreditation, programming a strong pipeline of projects and programmes from both private and public sectors as well as adaptative management for Readiness grants and Funded activities. This Dialogue is also expected to provide a platform for NDAs, AEs and DPs to share their experiences and promote knowledge sharing and peer-to-peer learning.
The GCF Workshop for DAEs in Latin America and the Caribbean provides a platform for DAEs of the region to share their experiences working with the GCF, and to provide guidance on how to better programme and prepare Concept Notes and Funding Proposals aligned to GCF's standards. This workshop is a valuable opportunity for participants to improve their knowledge of the GCF, as well as to discuss project ideas with other DAEs and the GCF delegation. Bilateral meetings between Direct Access Entities and GCF Secretariat staff will be built into the programme of the event.
