The Readiness support addresses core operational gaps by institutionalizing structured project origination, screening, and prioritization frameworks, and by strengthening implementation oversight systems. Additionally, KDB’s accumulated institutional experience will be shared with emerging DAEs and potential implementing partners across the Asia-Pacific region. The proposal directly contributes to the GCF Readiness Strategy (2024-2027) by supporting the DAE’s pipeline development and facilitating knowledge exchange among DAEs on low carbon and climate resilient development.
