The general objective of this proposal is to strengthen public private planning processes at the subnational level for the development of local country programs. To this end, the Ministry of Finance, in its role as Designated National Authority, has submitted an application to strengthen the Country Program, focusing on the implementation of a public private planning methodology at subnational level, which includes the prioritization of adaptation goals, the design of measures, and their continuous update (Annex III: Readiness Logical Framework Methodology, GCF Guidebook 2017). This methodological experience will be firstly implemented in the regions of Tarapacá, Coquimbo, Valparaíso, and Aysén.
