The Readiness support aims to enhance Ecobank’s technical and institutional capacities to mobilise climate finance at scale towards developing and implementing climate change projects according to GCF’s and international donor standards. Ecobank’s enhanced capacity will improve its position as a GCF Direct Access Entity to promote country ownership and support Ghana in mobilising climate investments towards the country’s climate priorities. It also aims to capacitate Ecobank to raise climate finance from GCF, other international donors and the private sector to support Ghana’s NDCs and climate ambitions.
