Call for public input: Review of GCF's Information Disclosure Policy

In accordance with paragraph 41 of the Information Disclosure Policy, the Ethics and Audit Committee (EAC) of the Board will present to the Board a report “on issues related to the implementation of this Policy along with any recommendations for changes to it ... [taking] into account new information access standards or policies developed and implemented by peer institutions and partners regarding the range of their activities”.

The review of the IDP is among the “[m]atters to be taken up by the Secretariat, with the proviso to bring any recommendations requiring Board attention back to the Board”, in accordance with decision B.22/02, paragraph (c). In line with the 2020-2023 Board Workplan, the review of the IDP is set to be considered by the Board in 2021.

To assist the EAC, the Secretariat, through the Office of Governance Affairs (OGA), has been tasked to undertake the review of the IDP. At this stage, the Secretariat is now seeking inputs from various stakeholders.

The GCF Secretariat welcomes any views on IDP implementation issues and recommendations for policy changes in accordance with the abovementioned paragraph 41 of the IDP.
