Overview
The objective of this Readiness proposal is to put the enabling conditions in place for strengthened capacity of the NDA and relevant agriculture and water-sector stakeholders to design and implement climate change mitigation and adaptation projects and policies in line with national priorities and the GCF country programme. The proposal will develop stakeholder coordination mechanisms for the agriculture and water sectors, including the private sector, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and academia, and develop a repository of project and investment information on climate-related agriculture and water issues. In addition to that, the proposal will build capacity and raise awareness on integrated climate change risks and solutions, and GCF funding mechanisms.
