Building Resilience Through National Adaptation Planning in St. Kitts and Nevis (SKN-NAP)

St. Kitts and Nevis is embarking on the development of a National Adaptation Plan (NAP) to systematically integrate climate adaptation into the country's development planning. This initiative aims to build on the nation's significant advances in climate resilience by establishing robust systems and capacities for sustained adaptation. Through the NAP process, St. Kitts and Nevis will be able to prioritize and implement a range of activities designed to reduce vulnerability to climate change, enhance adaptive capacity, and seamlessly incorporate adaptation measures into broader developmental strategies. By addressing adaptation comprehensively, the NAP will ensure that the nation is better prepared to manage climate risks and safeguard its development gains against the impacts of climate change.
