This NAP Readiness proposal, with a focus on agriculture and water, addresses the gaps of the 2016 NAP of the Republic of the Sudan including an identified lack of (1) Climate Change (CC) data and information and impact assessments, (2) well-designed training opportunities for CC impact modelling at the State- and federal level, and (3) capacities of State-level Technical Committees for CC adaptation planning and implementation.
