Overview
This GCF NAP Readiness project seeks to address barriers in the implementation of the NAP process in Eswatini by strengthening the institutional, technical and financial capacity of the Swaziland government at national level to advance the NAP process, thereby facilitating Swaziland’s transition to climate-resilient development. Although the primary focus will be at the national level where there is ministerial representation, because of the small size of the country, certain activities will be undertaken at the regional and local level. This is important because it is at the local level where many adaptation activities are actually implemented.
