Comoros: The tiny islands spearheading the fight against climate change
05 Feb 2019 / The Comoros faces a range of threats from climate change, including increased variability in rainfall levels, and consequent increased drought, flooding, and threats to the water supplies, for agriculture, drinking, and sanitation," said Simon Wilson, head of communications at the Green Climate Fund, or GCF, an international organisation established by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change that has backed projects in support of environmental protection in the Comoros.
