Through this request for proposals (“RFP”), the GCF is seeking to contract a qualified, reputable and experienced Firm for provision of services for “Green Climate Fund Recognition Awards”.

The Green Climate Fund aims to establish a platform for the creation of “GCF Recognition Awards” to acknowledge and celebrate the work of public and private sector organizations, non-governmental entities, international institutions, as well as academia from around the globe; recognizing, promoting and strengthening initiatives, activities, programmes and best practices that are designed to fight against and adapt to climate change. The Fund seeks to engage with a Service Provider, an entity that is willing and able to carry out the development and execution of this initiative.

As the GCF adopts this important initiative to acknowledge outstanding work on climate change, it will also support efforts to position the GCF as an organization that promotes best practices, impacts, and innovation, and position the Fund as a knowledge hub in the global climate finance landscape, emphasizing the Fund’s image as a leading organization in the field of climate change and climate action. 

Sealed Proposals must be submitted to the Secretariat no later than 15 April 2019 at 17:00 hrs Korean Standard Time.
