Terra Global Capital, LLC

Terra Global Capital, LLC (Terra Global) is an international access private sector entity based in the United States of America. Terra Global is a woman-led, majority women-owned, for-profit social enterprise. With its mission to facilitate financially, socially and environmentally sustainable forestry and agricultural land management practices, Terra Global has focused on sustainable forest and agriculture programmes; financing and quantifying greenhouse gas emissions associated with land use; and providing technical expertise, capacity-building support and investment capital to its global client base. It has developed, implemented and/or technically supported a global portfolio of over 100 projects in 34 countries in Africa, Asia Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, and North America.

With GCF, Terra Global intends to provide technical support on designing and implementing sustainable landscapes that are eligible to receive private sector financing for management programmes in countries with  low level of readiness and limited expertise. It intends to work with target countries and design innovative project structures that blend grants and reimbursable financing instruments from both international and domestic sources in line with the GCF investment criteria.
