The Green Climate Fund (GCF) will hold its 44th Board meeting (B.44) in Songdo, Incheon, Republic of Korea, from 25 to 28 March 2026.

The Board will consider a slate of new climate projects for approval, alongside accreditation proposals for new GCF implementing partners.

Other items on the agenda include a decision on GCF's regional presence, setting out the host cities for the Fund's new network of regional offices to bring climate finance closer to developing countries.

The Board will also consider updates to the GCF Board workplan for 2026–2027, an assessment of recent independent evaluations, and the roadmap for GCF's updated Strategic Plan for 2028–2031.

Participants, including observers from civil society and private sector organisations, National Designated Authorities (NDAs), Accredited Entities, and other partners who support delivering climate finance to developing countries, will attend the B.44 meeting.

The four-day meeting is live-streamed on the GCF website.
