Accreditation application Q&A sessions

The Green Climate Fund (GCF) hosted a series of Accreditation Application Q&A Sessions in February 2026 for eligible accreditation applicants and National Designated Authorities. The sessions provided practical guidance on navigating the full accreditation application process under the Revised Accreditation Framework (RAF). 

Given the targeted nature of these sessions, participation was by invitation only. Similar sessions will continue to be offered in the future for newly eligible applicants. 

Sessions took place on: 

• 3 and 5 February 2026, with English delivery and simultaneous French interpretation 
• 4 and 6 February 2026, with English delivery and simultaneous Spanish interpretation 

Separate sessions were held for public and private sector entities to ensure focused and tailored discussions. 

The sessions gathered strong engagement, with around 500 participants in total across all days, received approximately 200 pre-submitted questions, and over 300 questions were addressed live. 

Participants engaged directly with members of the independent Accreditation Panel and representatives of the GCF Secretariat. Questions submitted in advance were prioritized, followed by moderated live discussions to support effective engagement under the revised framework.
