GCF at Adaptation Futures

GCF took part in the "Resourcing Adaptation" plenary in Adaptation Futures 2018 in Cape Town, South Africa from 18-21 June. Jerry Velasquez, director of mitigation and adaptation at GCF, said that there is a need to leverage knowledge and learning, build the business case for projects and transfer these cases to the private sector. The plenary closed with the announcement of the Burtoni Award, recognising a lifetime contribution to adaptation research, policy and practice.
