GCF Regional Dialogue with Latin America and Workshop for Direct Access Entities

We’re pleased to announce two upcoming Green Climate Fund (GCF) events in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic: 

GCF Regional Dialogue with Latin America 
15–17 September 2025 

GCF Workshop for Direct Access Entities (DAEs) 
18–19 September 2025

These back-to-back gatherings will bring together key GCF partners from across Latin America to strengthen regional climate action and collaboration. 

At the GCF Regional Dialogue with Latin America, National Designated Authorities, International and Direct Access Entities and other strategic allies of the GCF can expect: 

• Exchange of inspiring experiences, lessons, and ideas across countries and institutions 
• Explore programming opportunities aligned with GCF’s Strategic Plan 2024-2027 (USP-2) 
• Strengthen their understanding of GCF's policies, financing windows and processes 
• Discuss how GCF´s comparative advantages can be best put to use in support of the region’s climate goals and challenges 
• Engage in bilateral meetings with the GCF to advance ambitious climate action 

National and Regional Direct Access Entities will gather at the dedicated GCF Workshop for Direct Access which will provide an opportunity to: 

• Strengthen collaboration and capacity building among national and regional DAEs 
• Dive into GCF’s result areas, concept note and funding proposal development, and sectoral priorities 
• Explore climate science, innovation, and strategic use of GCF financial instruments 
• Align efforts with USP-2 and enhance the use of Readiness resources for future programming
