At its June and October 2013 meetings, the Board took a number of important decisions relating to the financial risk management framework of the Green Climate Fund. Taking these decisions into account, this document sets out the conceptual foundations for this framework, and proposes an initial financial risk management framework for the Fund (Annex II) a categorization of financial risks and set of risk management tools (Annex III).
