Overview
The Ministry of Mahaweli Development and Environment (MMDE) is the National Designated Authority (NDA) to Green Climate Fund (GCF). The National Designated Authority and their nominated personnel have attended several GCF meetings. In order to acquire knowledge, build capacity of NDA to perform its duties (it has been recognised the need to strengthen its capacity and national entity accreditation support through GCF readiness and preparatory support. MMDE has also requested ICRAF to be its delivery partner in this regard.
