This proposal seeks to provide technical guidance and assistance to the Republic of Iraq to aid its development of a comprehensive Technology Needs Assessment (TNA) and action plan aimed at conducting a categorization and prioritization of mitigation and adaptation technologies that will comply with the Republic of Iraq’s NDC (2015). This work will enable the Republic of Iraq to organise its process for establishing a TNA, contribute directly to ongoing country programming process, establish a coordination mechanism and so aid the prioritization of actions and (sub) sectors that can be used by the Government to develop its pipeline of projects to be submitted to the GCF.
