The project consists of small scale hydropower plant (to be financed by JICA) and photovoltaic generation with battery system, and transmission lines which enhance resilience of the power system in the Republic of Vanuatu. Technical assistance in operation of the whole system is also included to secure sustainability. This project will contribute to attaining the ambitious renewable energy target of the country.
