In order for Kenya to take advantage of the opportunities to address climate change, it is imperative to take conscious steps aimed at building capacities and developing clear coordination mechanisms for climate financing including GCF access. It is against this background that the National Treasury, as the NDA for GCF in Kenya, mooted development of this Readiness proposal.
