The Readiness proposal has the objective to support the NDA, as the main beneficiary of the readiness, to have a better organization to improve complementarity and coherence between the activities of the GCF and the activities of other relevant institutions, to better mobilize the full range of financial and technical capacities ‒ focusing on the optimization of organization and human capacities inside the organization ‒ and to enhance the efficiency and transparency of the processes of the NDA by implementing digital solutions. To achieve this the proposal builds on the existing structures from previous readiness proposals and transfer them into a multi-functional system that enables systematic and strategic steering of Ecuador’s engagement with the Green Climate Fund.
