The Burundian readiness and preparatory support is mainly targeting: 1) the strengthening of the NDA and its capacity to coordinate climate change initiatives through an inter‐sectoral framework; and 2) the establishment of a sustainable mechanism of engaging key stakeholders, including women groups and the private sector in climate finance decision‐making.
