The Board, in decision B.40/15, requested the Secretariat to present proposed updates to the monitoring and accountability framework for accredited entities (MAF) for the Board’s consideration and approval at B.42 as part of the wider package of documents to be considered by the Board in connection with the revised accreditation framework.
Accordingly, the proposed updates to the MAF aim to:
(a) Ensure alignment with the revised accreditation framework and relevant GCF strategies;
(b) Streamline the reporting framework, while facilitating effective implementation of relevant GCF policies; and
(c) Reinforce the accountability of AEs, while ensuring appropriate support from GCF to enable compliance and performance.
