GCF/B.42/04/Add.01: Accreditation Framework
In decision B.40/15, the Board requested the Secretariat, in consultation with the Accreditation Committee, to present for the Board’s consideration and approval at its forty-second meeting (B.42) an accreditation reform package that aims to enhance access to resources by streamlining the accreditation process as a fit-for-purpose institutional due diligence mechanism, aligning it with the updated Strategic Plan for 2024–2027. This document presents a draft revised accreditation framework, as part of the reform package. This draft incorporates lessons learned from years of implementation of accreditation frameworks, the Board’s guidance, including through the Accreditation Committee, as well as feedback from and consultation with the Accreditation Panel, Accredited entities, National Designated Authorities, Observers and other stakeholders.
