Through decision B.BM-2021/17, the Board of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) launched the Second Performance Review (SPR) of the GCF, with the final report expected in early 2023.
The SPR is expected to inform, among other things, the update of the Strategic Plan for the GCF-2 programming period. This approach paper outlines the work to be undertaken in the SPR. This includes an illustration of the methodological approach, expected schedule, key evaluation questions, and criteria for identification of country case studies. The approach is informed by the findings of the Synthesis Study and Rapid Assessment of the progress of the GCF’s Updated Strategic Plan.
