This report is prepared to provide the Board with an update on the structure of the Secretariat and the status of recruitment. The initial structure and staffing of the Secretariat was proposed to the Board in document GCF/B.05/10.

The initial structure consisted of five divisions, each headed by a Director reporting to the Executive Director. It was understood that the size and operational structure of the Secretariat would be adjusted based on actual needs and future Board decisions on the overall governance structure of the Fund.
