This document presents relevant environmental and social safeguards (ESS) information about the programme “PREFOREST CONGO - Project to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from forests in five departments in the Republic of Congo” submitted by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Project and programme funding proposals that have environmental or social impacts are required to provide these reports as annexes to the funding proposals.
