Contributions to GCF are facilitated through Contribution Agreements or Arrangements signed by contributors, GCF, and the Trustee, which is the existing mechanism for receiving contributions to the Trust Fund.
This agreement was signed between the Walloon region of Belgium, GCF, and the World Bank in January 2016, for contributions made at the Initial Resource Mobilisation (IRM) period. Amendments to the agreement were made in March 2016.
