Contributions to GCF are facilitated through Contribution Agreements or Arrangements signed by contributors, GCF, and the Trustee, which is the existing mechanism for receiving contributions to the Trust Fund.
This agreement was signed between Belgium, GCF, and the World Bank in December 2019, for contributions made for GCF's first replenishment period (GCF-1). The document was amended in December 2021.
