B.10/16: Further consideration of the initial term of Board membership

The Board, having reviewed document GCF/B.10/14 Further Consideration of the Initial Term of Board Membership:

1. Decides that:
   
   1. Members and alternate members of the Board whose terms expire on 23 August 2015 shall continue in their functions until their successors have been selected;
   2. Members and alternate members of the Board serving in the capacity of members of the Accreditation Committee, the Risk Management Committee, the Investment Committee and the Private Sector Advisory Group, whose terms expire in 2015 shall continue in their functions until their successors have been selected;
   3. Representatives of the active observers from accredited civil society organizations and private sector organizations whose terms expire in 2015 shall continue in their functions until their successors have been selected; and
   4. All of the above are subject to no person continuing in his/her function as part of the initial term after 31 December 2015 or changing the cycle of the terms; and
2. Requests the Secretariat to further consider the possibility of aligning the term of Board membership to the calendar year and to report back to the Board at its twelfth session.
