SK Securities, Co., Ltd. (SK Securities) is a private sector entity based in the Republic of Korea. It is a financial investment company with offices in the Republic of Korea, as well as in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China (SAR). Its main business areas include retail, wholesale, investment bank, principal investment, private equity fund and trading. Climate change is an important part of its development strategy for growing into a more global investment bank. SK Securities has experience in investing in and providing financial advisory services for numerous renewable energy project financing deals, including energy generation and access, energy efficiency, transport, buildings, cities, industries and appliances.

With financing from GCF, SK Securities intends to undertake activities including: an e-mobility project 
in Cambodia to replace fossil-fuel transportation with renewable energy transportation; a private equity fund (Green Bond Fund) to gather investors for green bonds along with providing advisory and consulting 
services in developing countries; small and medium-sized renewable energy projects, and carbon emission reduction projects.
