PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance

PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (PT IIF) is a private sector national direct access entity based in Jakarta, Indonesia, with a mandate to catalyse commercially viable and sustainable infrastructure financing. Through financial instruments such as loans, equity and guarantees, PT IIF mobilizes long-term finance for infrastructure development while providing advisory services to improve project preparation, structuring and delivery. Its experience covers transport, water and waste infrastructure, irrigation, telecommunications and electricity, with a focus on increasing private sector participation in Indonesia’s infrastructure market.

PT IIF works with public institutions, local governments, financial institutions, investors and private sector clients to structure bankable infrastructure projects. In addition to financing, it provides policy advisory services to ministries and local governments, as well as transaction advisory support for public–private partnership and other infrastructure projects, including due diligence, feasibility analysis, concession preparation and fundraising. This combined financing and advisory role enables PT IIF to help strengthen the enabling environment for sustainable infrastructure investment in Indonesia.

Through GCF engagement, PT IIF intends to support Indonesia’s Second Nationally Determined Contribution by mobilizing finance for low-emission, climate-resilient infrastructure. Its planned areas of focus include renewable energy, energy efficiency, waste-to-energy, sustainable transport, green buildings, renewable energy in remote areas and climate-resilient infrastructure. PT IIF also aims to use GCF resources to support enabling policies, share good practices in sustainable project development and strengthen partners’ capacity to apply environmental and social standards.
