Overview

FOKABS is a global climate change and sustainability consulting firm with a vision to build greener resilient communities. The headquarters of Fokabs is in Ottawa, Canada with regional hubs in Africa and Latin America & Caribbean. The company provides technical assistance, training and capacity building, project development and management, and monitoring and evaluation support. Fokabs’ areas of adaptation expertise include Livelihoods of People and Communities; Health, Food, and Water Security; and Ecosystem and Ecosystem Services. Regarding mitigation expertise, Fokabs covers Energy Generation and Access; Forest and Land Use; and Buildings, Cities, Industries, and Appliances. FOKABS has so far provided consulting services in more than 80 countries.
