Overview
Fonds Interprofessionnel pour la Recherche et le Conseil Agricoles (FIRCA) is a national direct access entity based in Côte d'Ivoire, headquartered in Abidjan, FIRCA leverages its extensive network of agricultural stakeholders and partnerships with the government and international organizations. FIRCA was established to fund programs in the crop, forestry, and animal production sectors, FIRCA's mission includes applied agronomic and forestry research, dissemination of agricultural technologies, and capacity-building for agricultural organizations and producers. FIRCA mobilizes resources from various stakeholders to ensure sustainable financing for projects that enhance agricultural productivity and support climate change adaptation and mitigation.
