Overview
Climate Fund Managers B.V. (CFM) is a blended finance fund manager specializing in climate-aligned infrastructure in emerging and frontier markets. Operating across Africa, Asia and Latin America, with offices in the Hague, Cape Town, Singapore and Bogotá, CFM combines global fund management with regional investment, technical, ESG and operational capacity to mobilize public and private capital for mitigation and resilience projects.
CFM works with public donors, development finance institutions, commercial financiers, technical partners and regional platforms, including partners linked to the GAIA Climate Loan Fund and the Regional Transmission Infrastructure Financing Facility. Through these partnerships, CFM mobilizes concessional, commercial and grant capital, strengthens project origination and preparation, and improves the bankability of climate infrastructure investments.
In partnership with GCF, CFM intends to expand climate-resilient infrastructure investments in renewable energy, water and sanitation, low-carbon transport, green buildings, green hydrogen and related sectors. By using concessional finance catalytically, CFM aims to crowd in commercial capital, respond to country priorities and support low-emission and climate-resilient development in underserved emerging markets.
