Multilateral climate funds publishes first joint results report
For the first time, the world’s four largest multilateral climate funds (MCFs) are presenting a unified picture of our collective impact. The Adaptation Fund, Climate Investment Funds, Global Environment Facility, and Green Climate Fund have published an inaugural results report that shows how our finance delivers real outcomes for people, economies, and ecosystems.
This report provides the clearest view yet of how combined efforts translate into tangible progress across four shared results areas: Mitigation, Adaptation, Energy and Technology, and Nature.
It’s an important step for the MCFs to build a more common approach to measuring results. By aligning our results systems and exchanging learning across programs and institutions, our four institutions are helping accelerate implementation, enhance access to finance, and amplify our collective impact.
This landmark report also reflects a shared commitment to credible, comparable, and transparent reporting, and a determination for the funds to work together more strategically.
* The report was launched at COP30 in Belém on November 18, 2025.
