Preparing bankable mitigation and adaptation funding proposals for the GCF: private sector experiences

This webinar aims to share lessons learned from Accredited Entities (AEs) that have accessed GCF Project Preparation Facility (PPF) support and have successfully taken private sector projects to the GCF Board for approval.

There will be a panel session among AEs and representatives from the GCF Private Sector Facility, who will share their experiences on how to best prepare and structure projects to articulate climate-orientation, bankability, and impact, in key dimensions:

1. Feasibility, market, and economic assessments
2. Financial structuring
3. Regulatory, legal, and safeguards analysis
4. Stakeholder engagement

To accommodate participants across different time zones, the sessions will be regionally segmented as follows:
