The proposed PPF application includes activities to support the development of the PSAA Concept Note into a PSAA Funding Proposal package for the project entitled "Strengthening the Climate Resilience of Angola's Health System and Vulnerable Communities in Huíla and Namibe Provinces." The PPF request includes the development of comprehensive studies, and review of draft assessments already developed by ADPP Angola.
- Preparation of a detailed Pre-feasibility Study, including a Climate Vulnerability Assessment for the health sector, and project design;
- Extensive stakeholder consultations;
- Preparation of an Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP);
- Development of a Gender Assessment and Action Plan (GAAP);
- Development of a Stakeholder Engagement Plan;
- Preparation of financial models and a cost-benefit analysis for key investments;
- Development of a Roadmap towards an institutional coordination framework for Climate & Health, including Roadmaps towards an Operational Manual, Terms of Reference for the Climate and Health Task Force, and a Roadmap towards climate-health data integration system(s).
- Finalization of the Funding Proposal and required annexes;
The PPF activities will be crucial for collecting detailed baseline data, conducting technical assessments for climate-informed health infrastructure solutions, developing coordination mechanisms between climate and health sectors, and establishing monitoring frameworks.
