Gender assessment for SAP001: Improving rangeland and ecosystem management practices of smallholder farmers under conditions of climate change in Sesfontein, Fransfontein, and Warmquelle areas of the Republic of Namibia

The aim of this assessment is to conduct a gender analysis on the effects of climate change in Kunene region for gender mainstreaming in the activities of this project. The assessment studied engagement of men and women in the sector, division of labour, access and control as well as power relations. This assessment further sought to understand the social, economic and political underlying factors related to climate change that exacerbate gender inequality.
