Gender assessment for FP053: Enhancing climate change adaptation in the North coast and Nile Delta Regions in Egypt

This gender assessment aims to provide an overview of the gender situation in Egypt, with a specific focus on protecting and increasing the resilience of groups in vulnerable situations, particularly women and children from the adverse impact of climate change on rising sea levels and coastal erosion in the Nile Delta and North Coast region. The assessment will highlight gender issues that have a bearing on the project, as well as opportunities to empower women through gender responsive adaptation, mitigation and risk reduction measures.
