The document provides an update on the operationalization of GCF regional presence, pursuant to decision B.42/14, in which the Board adopted the terms of reference for the selection of the host countries and requested the Secretariat to launch a call for proposals to host GCF regional presence with a deadline of 19 September 2025 for submission. The Board further requested the Secretariat to prepare a comprehensive analysis and recommendation for host countries of regional offices and an outpost, consistent with document GCF/B.42/12 and decision B.41/10, for the Board’s consideration.

It also presents an update on the implementation plan mandated in decision B.41/10.
