Empowering Women Groups to Build Resilience to Climate Impacts in the Province of Cunene in Southwest Angola

The proposed Project Preparation Facility (PPF) application, developed by OSS experts, includes activities to support the development of the SAP Concept Note into a SAP Funding Proposal for the project entitled: “Empowering Women Groups to Build Resilience to Climate Impacts in the Province of Cunene in South-west Angola”.

The PPF request includes the development of studies, and review of draft studies already developed by the AE. As such, the PPF comprises the review and strengthening of the Pre- feasibility Study and the project design; an additional baseline assessment; the Environmental and Social Action Plan, Stakeholder consultations and stakeholder engagement plan as well as the Gender Assessment and Action plan. It furthermore includes the development of a financial model for the proposed Small Grant in the project.

An English-Portuguese speaking local consultant based in Angola, will be required to assist the firm during the consultation process to ensure coherence and understanding of the project area as well as linking with the various stakeholders.
