2021 Annual Performance Report for SAP019: Gums for Adaptation and Mitigation in Sudan (GAMS): Enhancing adaptive capacity of local communities and restoring carbon sink potential of the Gum Arabic belt, expanding Africa’s Great Green Wall

This Annual Performance Report presents the overall implementation progress of the project including performance against GCF investment criteria, financial information, project logic framework targets indicators, and development of ESS, Indigenous Peoples, and Gender project elements. It also provides information on challenges encountered and mitigation actions taken. The Annual Performance Report is submitted to GCF by the Accredited Entity responsible for the implementation of the project; the report is currently undergoing review by the GCF Secretariat and is subject to changes, if necessary.
